Street Library

Street Libraries are beautiful homes for books planted in front yards. They’re open for neighbours to take a book that interests them, which they can return or pass on when they’ve finished reading.

Street Library describes themselves as “symbols of trust and hope – a tiny vestibule of literary happiness”.

Sheargold Foundation provides funds to the organisation, which helps it to increase the number of libraries around Australia while spreading awareness of the benefits that Street Libraries can bring to our communities.
